About Milan Homes
Dominic Coloutes is a State Certified General Contractor and State Certified Plumbing Contractor with over 20 years in the construction industry. He has worked hands-on in most of the construction trades before becoming a contractor and holds a Bachelors degree in Construction Management.
Dominic is currently the license holder and qualifier for PHI International, Inc., d/b/a Milan Homes which is a full service construction company that specializes in commercial and residential construction, as well as, site development.
Dominic’s commercial construction experience includes the construction of big boxes stores like; Ross, Target, and Office Depot, as well as, churches, restaurants, schools, shopping centers, and banks.
Dominic started his residential construction experience in 1997 as a superintendent for a large semi-custom home builder. He progressed through his construction career and 2000 he was a project manager overseeing the development and construction of several single family and multi-family developments.
During this time he was instrumental in the development and build-out of 3 large subdivisions in Hillsborough and Pasco County.
Dominic is also well versed in multi-family construction and from 2003 to 2005 he constructed three multi-family sub-divisions which consisted of two and three story town homes and condominium projects which were located in the Tampa Bay area, the Orlando area and Melbourne, Florida.
In 2005 Dominic opened Milan Construction, Inc. and began building his own custom homes under the name Milan Homes. He continued building custom homes and multi-family homes in Tampa Bay through 2010.
Currently Dominic is building single family and multi-family homes in the Tampa Bay area under the business name Milan Homes and has purchased land in Pinellas and Hillsborough for new single family and multi-family home construction.
His main interest in building is delivering a quality product to his customers that will last a lifetime. The construction practices used by Milan Homes exceed those of the average builder.
